Situated within the picturesque conservation village of Portpatrick, in the South-West of Scotland, this comfortable cottage is only a short walk from the lively harbour and enjoys views out to sea from the garden.

There is plenty to do in the village, with fishing trips, a sandy beach, bowling green, tennis court, putting green and golf courses. There are also lovely coastal walks - Portpatrick is the starting point for the Southern Upland Way. There is also a good selection of bars and restaurants.

There are special events throughout the year. Enjoy the Gala Day at Easter, the Boat Festival in June, the Lifeboat Week in August and sing along at the Folk Festival in September.

The village also makes a good base for touring the surrounding countryside and you can even enjoy a day trip to Ireland - the ferry from Stranraer is just 8 miles away.
